Old World Beef & Mushroom Goulash (3-4 quart crockpot)


(3-4 quart crockpot or stovetop): Thaw completely in refrigerator. Crockpot: Empty bag into crockpot. Cover and cook on Low for approx. 8 hours. 30 min. before serving, turn to HIGH and quickly stir in egg noodles. Replace lid and cook 30 min. Stovetop: Empty bag into a pot. Add 1 c. water (Split Orders add ˝ c. water). Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, approx. 2 hours, or until beef is tender. Stir in egg noodles for last 20 min. of cooking time. Both: Ladle into bowls. If desired, top with a dollop of sour cream or sprinkle with chopped green onions. Suggested Sides: Warm, crusty bread, a light salad.

Orange Ginger Chicken (stovetop)


(stovetop): Thaw completely in fridge. Coat a frypan with a little oil and heat over medium heat. Cook chicken 5-6 min. per side OR until done (internal temp 165F/74C). Add sauce. Cook sauce, stirring and periodically spooning over chicken until somewhat thickened and “sticky”, approx. 2 min. Serve sauce over chicken. Suggested Sides: Our Best Ever Crunchy Coleslaw!
